Some Texas inmates get ‘weevil’ noodles

Some inmates at the El Paso County Jail annex were served noodles infested with weevils, sheriff’s officials said. Sheriff’s Deputy Jimmy Apodaca said the food was removed as soon as they learned of the problems.

Salesman gets 10 years in machete attack

A 73-year-old car dealership owner has been sentenced to 10 years in prison for attacking a customer with a machete.
