Sarah Palin! President?

Shirley Mitchem’s view of Sarah Palin for president:

Sarah Palin! President?

1 she couldn’t lead from the middle, which is the hardest things any human being has to do if
he or she is president.

2 keep religion out of politics. separation of church and state ‘WE ARE A PROUD COUNTRY OF
ALL RACES, RELIGIONS, AND CULTURES.

This woman seems to have a deep seated personal hatred for this president, and others and continues to rail on that, and “poor me, poor family your picking on agenda for 2 yrs) She never leaves the spot light and people are getting tired of it. EVEN THE BEST POLITICANS TAKE A BREAK. NOT SARAH.

She goes after the president’s, wife and family in the same way. Even McCain campaign told her they were off limits. She doesn’t listen very well.

She seems to have this idea that God is leading her and Obama is the reason “SHE DIDN’T BECOME
V.P.”

As for me, I’m 70 white, retired and widow, christian all my life. and i don’t want a religious conservative leadership in office. Who ever is president has to be for all the people. Sarah Palin is not.

Maybe if: Sarah Palin had said a Political congratulations to the president in the beginning.
went back to Alaska and finished being Governor (her last 2 1/2yrs) she actually quit 2 times.

mended her political fences in Alaska and some personal ones.

kept her mouth shut for a while, EDUCATED HERSELF ON WORLD AFFAIRS
STAY AWAY FROM FOX NEWS, AND TRIED TO SEE BOTH SIDES OF ANY ISSUE.

PROTECTED HER FAMILY AND TRIED TO KEEP THEM OUT OF THE POLITICAL EYE
AND FROM RIDICULE, AS DOES OTHER POLITICIANS.

SHE SEEMS TO HAVE THIS COLDNESS THEN THEIR WORTH TRASHING.

THERE’S LADIES AND THEN THERE’S “LADIES, LIKE FIRST LADY JACKIE KENNEDY,
LADY BUSH (“SARAH NEEDS TO GO BACK TO ALASKA”) AND LADY MICHELLE OBAMA”

Sarah Palin has drawn huge crowds, the far right religious conservatives love her, but again they
don’t stand for ALL THE PEOPLE. ALL AMERICANS.

She’s made millions with her mouth, but that doesn’t mean your a leader, educated or uneducated.

No, i don’t think she could be president, not of this great nation.

I’m white, 70, retired and I want someone with Godly moral standards that represents the heart of America and the pride of the American people. I want a statesman in the White House and not another politician. I do not want my country fundamentally transformed from a democratic republic. I want someone who has been under siege and has stood firm and committed in maintaining the sovereignty of our great nation…and that person is Sarah Palin. Watch The Undefeated if you have not seen it as yet and perhaps you will see the true nature, experience and beliefs of this fine young woman.

OK, I’m not American and not up to speed with the politics there but I just received this email. Is there any truth in all this I wonder? At least she’s better looking than Clinton! Maybe it’s safer to vote in movie stars?
    ……..

Sarah Palin’s hopes of joining the 2012 US presidential race have been thrown into jeopardy after claims that she used drugs, had a fling with a basketball star and cheated on her husband.

The salacious allegations appear in a new unauthorised biography by author Joe McGinniss called The Rogue: Searching For The Real Sarah Palin, due to be released in the US next week.

The National Enquirer, which has obtained an advance copy of the book, claims Mrs Palin snorted cocaine off the top of an overturned oil drum while snowmobiling with friends.

It also alleges she smoked marijuana in secret liaisons with a university professor while studying in Alaska.

A friend of the Palin family is said to have claimed that the Tea Party politician’s husband, Todd, also used cocaine and that he was “on the end of the straw plenty”.

The book goes on to claim to substantiate allegations previously denied by Mrs Palin that she had a six-month affair in the mid 1990s with her husband’s business partner, Brad Hanson.

Mr McGinniss writes that the relationship put “considerable pressure” on Mrs Palin’s marriage, with Todd complaining to friends about “loss of intimacy”.

He also claims Mrs Palin had a one-night stand with basketball star Glen Rice nine months before her marriage to her husband.

She is said to have met the 6ft 8ins former NBA champion when he was playing in a college basketball tournament in Alaska and she worked as a TV sports reporter.

The tryst reportedly occurred over Thanksgiving weekend 1987 in the university dormitory room of Palin’s younger sister.

Mr McGinniss says he spoke with Mr Rice, who confirmed the tryst, but Rice has not made any official response to the claims.

There also has been no comment so far from the Palin camp to any of the allegations.

Mr McGinniss, who made his name as the author of a study of Richard Nixon’s campaign, rented the house next door to the Palins in Wasilla, Alaska, while researching the bombshell book.

While he was living there, Mrs Palin, 47, warned him to not to spy on her family.
